Meet Kristi

Hey there! Nice to meet you! I love helping reading interventionists and elementary teachers by creating resources and tools to help them with their intervention and small groups.

While you are here, take a look around, grab some freebies, and let’s make planning for your small groups easier!

Experience

I started my first teaching job at a daycare during my senior year of high school. I was employed there while I worked on my Bachelor’s Degree and spent time as the 3/4s, pre-k, and school age teacher.

After student teaching and college graduation, I taught 3rd and 4th grade in a public school for five years. Then, I moved to a school closer to home and spent six years as a kindergarten through fifth grade Title 1 Reading Specialist.

Education

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts in Teaching with my K – 12 Reading Specialist Certificate.

Personal Life

I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart Kevin, for 15 years. Together we have three children – two daughters and a son.

After having my son, I decided to step away from the classroom to stay home with him. I didn’t want to totally leave the world of education behind so I decided to create resources I always wanted for my intervention groups, but never had the time to make!
